The 2026 Harrod Pork Rind Heritage Festival is fast approaching. We have even more NEW exciting things planned for this year! Over our history we have grown considerably. We pride ourselves on providing family fun and bringing people from all over the state into our local community to showcase Allen County, Ohio at its best!
The committee’s goal is to again provide a safe, fun event where local groups and organizations can show community pride and raise funds to help their group operate throughout the year. Over the years, we are pleased to say the festival committee has been able to make numerous donations to support local schools events, fire department equipment, community center furniture, park equipment and preservation and fund a large scholarship to deserving local seniors, each spring, to help with college expenses.
Parking
Parking is free and is located throughout town at various locations marked by parking signs. Additional Parking is available behind the Harrod Fire Station, The Harrod Village Park, The Harrod Event Center and the Harrod Methodist Church.
Handicap Parking
Handicap parking is available off 2nd street in the railroad heritage park & behind the pavilion. Spots will be marked with temporary signs.

Festival History
The Pork Rind Heritage Festival began in 1989 during the Village of Harrod, Ohio Centennial celebration. As the first year of the festival was started to celebrate the village it then was turned into an annual celebration with the support of Rudolph Foods as a corporate sponsor. Each year the festival has grown into a bigger and better celebration.
